WCPDM USA RECEIVE HON. ROSE ABUNAW MAKIA IN THE USA.

"Hon. Rose Abuanaw Makia is the Vice President of Cameroon National Assembly as also serves as the WCPDM Section President of Manyu 1 in Cameroon. Hon. Rose A Makia made a private visit to see her family in the USA but this trip took a public turn around as CPDM Militants accross the USA seized the opportunity to meet with her for some inspiration and share her thoughts on leadership in the party. A matter of importance for the newly installed CPDM USA Section. Hon. Rose Abunaw Makia was received in different States including Georgia, Texas and Maryland. " (Lady Kate Njeuma)

PLEASE READ THE SPEECH PRESENTED TO HON. ROSE MAKIA BY WCPDM USA SECTION PRESIDENT Mrs PATIENCE TAMFU.

On behalf of WCPDM USA, and Myself, I want to welcome you, to North America in general and to Baltimore in Particular. And I thank God for granting you journey mercies.



I cannot proceed without congratulating you for retaining your position as VICE PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF CAMEROON for two conseqetive terms. We the WCPDM Militants of North America applaud you. We believe it is evidence of the confidence that the head of State and chair man of the ruling party the CPDM, HIS EXELENCY PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA, and the Cameroonian people have in you, and evidence of the good work that you have done .Notably, the fight against corruption, the push towards the deep sea port in Limbe, the tarring of the John Holt 2Km Road in Mamfe, The new Council soon to be constructed in Mamfe, The fight against FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION AND CHILD TRAFICATING. We wish to thank you for the good work and also ask you to convey our appreciation to Our Head of State President Paul Biya for supporting you on this effort. We also want to Praise and commend you for making the Cameroonian woman Proud. You are first woman to become a VICE PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMLY OF CAMEROON. That alone empowers us as women and gives us hope for a better future for the Cameroonian Woman.



Honorable, I also want to commend your dutiful and cautious leadership in effecting Constitutional Changes to the Nation’s Constitution which is for the good of the nation and people of greater wisdom. The peaceful settlement of the BAKASSI CAMEROON dispute by our head of state President PAUL BIYA. It is because of your compelling interest for the nation as Head of State of the Republic of Cameroon and his ability to lead, that our Country today enjoys peace. We thank you for the support you all gave to our Head of Sate President Paul Biya from the bottom of our hearts.



Honorable, We also want to remind you that, we are standing here today as a recognized section of CPDM USA following our creation in April 2007 by a Delegation representing Our National Chair man and the central committee of the ruling CPDM Party. This delegation was led by Hon Minister Elvis Ngole Ngole. During our Mission to Yaoundé soon after our creation, the delegation Lead by our Section President Sessekou Joseph Mbu to Present our Plan of action to the Central committee you were very supportive of us. Mindful of the leadership position conferred on us, and considering your continuous call for unity, nation building and the expansion of our national Resource, we accept the leadership position entrusted on us by the designated delegation in April 14th, 2007 to organize the Women’s wing of the Party in the United States of America.



As WCPDM section President, I pledge my honest loyalty, respect and honor to the leadership, to uphold its constitution and work towards the education of our Cameroonian Woman.
We have planted Comrades in different states who are doing the ground work of recruiting Militants for the party, for the success and rapid expansion of the Women’s Wing of the party in America. Honorable we want you to take this massage to our National President Mme Yoau Aisatou.
We need an Agency to oversee the affairs of Cameroonians in the Diaspora, such as:
1) Reviewing business Licenses
2) Sending back property to Cameroon through our ports authority
3) Job possibilities in Cameroon
4) Participation in decision making
5) Representing Cameroon in various matters at home and abroad

Proposing to parliament to grant dual Nationality to Cameroonians in the Diaspora, residing in some friendly countries. This issue ranks # one of concerns of our militants. Honorable, we will like to know the statues of this proposal.



Honorable, we wish you the best during your stay in the United State of America. May God grant you a safe trip back to Cameroon?
