Speech Presented by WCPDM USA Section President, Mrs Patience Tamfu Nwagbaraocha to HRH Chief Ephraim Inoni, the Prime Minister and Head of Government

YOUR EXELENCY,

On behalf of WCPDM USA, and Myself, I want to welcome you, your wife, and your entourage to the US in general and to Washington D C in particular. And I thank God for granting you all journey mercies.
I cannot proceed without congratulating you for retaining your position as Prime Minister and head of government of the Republic of Cameroon. We believe it is evidence of the confidence that the head of State and chair man of the ruling party the CPDM, HIS EXELENCY PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA, and the Cameroonian people have in you, and evidence of the good work that you have done .Notably, the fight against corruption, the push towards the deep sea port in Limbe, the re-construction of the Mongo bridge and rehabilitation of some major roads in Cameroon. We wish to thank you for the good work and also ask you to covey our appreciation to Our Head of State President Paul Biya for supporting you on this effort.
Your Excellency, I also want to commend your dutiful and cautious leadership in effecting Constitutional Changes to the Nation’s Constitution which is for the good of the nation and people of greater wisdom. It is because of your compelling interest for the nation as Prime Minister of the Republic of Cameroon and your ability to lead, that our Country today enjoys peace. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Your Excellency, We also want to remind you that, we are standing here today as a recognized section of CPDM USA following our creation in April 2007 by a Delegation representing Our National Chair man and the central committee of the ruling CPDM Party. This delegation was led by Hon Minister Elvis Ngole Ngole. Before this delegation installed us, it is well known that you were the brain child of the creation of this section. Not only did you initiate the idea to create a section in the U S, you also forth tirelessly making several trips to the U S and pushing the Agenda in Yaoundé. We want to say thank you. Like a good father that we know you are, we count on you to continue to be our spokes man supporter and defender always.
Mindful of the leadership position conferred on us, and considering your continuous call for unity, nation building and the expansion of our national Resource, we accept the leadership position entrusted on us by your designated delegation in April 14th, 2007 to organize the Women’s wing of the Party in the United States of America. As WCPDM section President, I pledge my honest loyalty, respect and honor to the leadership, to uphold its constitution and work towards the education of our Cameroonian Woman. To know whom we are, what we offer, and how much we have done for our Nation. We promise to keep the good reputation of our party the C P D M in the Diaspora; because we know that reputation is like a glass, once broken can never be repaired.
Your Excellency we cannot over- emphasize the need for assistance.
Your Excellency, in a prior discussion with you, you had agreed to an idea of creating an Agency to oversee the affairs of Cameroonians in the Diaspora, such as:
1) Reviewing business Licenses
2) Sending back property to Cameroon through our ports authority
3) Job possibilities in Cameroon
4) Participation in decision making
5) Representing Cameroon in various matters at home and abroad

Proposing to parliament to grant dual Nationality to Cameroonian in the Diaspora, residing in some friendly countries. This issue ranks # one of concerns of our militants. Your Excellency; we will like to know the statues of this proposal.

Your Excellency, We wish you the best during your stay in the United State of America. May God grant you a safe trip back to Cameroon?

LONG LIVE OUR CHARMAN PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA
LONG LIVE CAMEROON
